Mesa
Located 12 miles southeast of downtown Phoenix is Mesa. Today Mesa is the third largest city in Arizona right behind Tucson and Phoenix. The population is expected to reach over 500,000 by 2020. Approximately 135,000 "snowbirds" increase Mesa's population during the winter months. Companies such as Boeing, Motorola, TRW, AT&T relocate or establish their business in Mesa. The city has its own symphony and amphitheater which hosts musical events to suit everyone's taste. For those of you into sports there is the Cactus League Spring Training which hosts the Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, and California Angels training camps.
